Tractor
Antonio Carrero TTR4400
I went out today and found a kubota snow plow that I need to make into a 3pt hitch model. I was thinking I would build a pyramid for the top link and add the 3pt pins to the existing arms as they are 171/2 inches apart. I am installing this on a Antonio carrero 35hp with a reversable seat. Here are a few questions that I have. Am I barking up the wrong tree and should mount this to the front of the tractor? Is the pyramid idea for the top link a good one? Will we be snow free this year If I do all this work?:D Also should I brace the plow with some ribs? and add a foot as this one is only 5ft.

Not familiar with your tractor but you will want it extending past the wheels when it is angled. In my driveway I'd like it to extend 2ft on the ditch side (right hand side of tractor) so I could get the snow well back off the road. (its not uncommon for us to have 2-3' of unpacked snow in the bush by March)

5' plow ahhhh how cute! must have been for a garden tractor er bx series

my 6' rear blade is barely wide enough to cover my rear when angled.

id add a foot to each side.

the tractor is only 53" with the turf tires on it.I will try to mount the blade and think about making it wider after. I worries about having it too far away from the tractor but now I relize that i have to see it at full angle before I can check the required distance from the tractor,

They had one of those tractors at the state fair this year. No one was around to ask questions about it and the brochures were locked up inside the cab. Was a very interesting piece of machinery.

If I,I rather have the plow up front..easier on the upper half of the body.

Adding on plow you can over lap bolt or weld also piece thick angel iron w/two edges weld on plow for support..near bottom/half way.

The tractor isn't articulated but it will turn in near its own length. This one is the TTR4400 model. I love it. the big drawback is the loader needs to be 3pt if I require one but the slopes it does are well worth it. it is very nice to be right over the attachment as the control is greater as you can see everything.

I was thinking I could tack a 4" piece of box tube and attach it off the center back of the plow . this would pin in directly to my cbm hitch that I can rotate 90 degrees thus I would not have to to the top link set up and only have one weld and a few holes to drill
