This is one of those “I wish I had” questions. It could be something, rare, valuable or you just can’t obtain, like the Mona Lisa. It could also be something mundane that you just can’t get anymore.
For me as a land surveyor I’d love to have an original signed Abraham Lincoln boundary survey. At one time my parents lived in Petersburg Illinois which is the area Lincoln surveyed. At that time there were no copy machines so most if not all of his surveys would have been recorded in the courthouse. Any surveys in private hands would be out of my price range. Jefferson and Washington were also surveyors and that would be quite the trifecta to have one from each of them.
By the way Mount Rushmore is misnamed. The correct name is Three Surveyors and Another Guy. Teddy Roosevelt wasn’t ever a surveyor.
