Hi all, I've been inserting myself into discussions for about 3 weeks without first introducing myself, my apologies. I'm a Frenchman from Québec's southwest and semi-retired, looking to a full retirement next summer and plan on staying in my cottage full time in a few years. I wanted to get a TLB for a few years now, ever since we had a storm that took down over 200 hundreds trees during a 10 seconds microburst in 2016. Here's a choppy video from a security camera that caught the storm. In the description, I mention that 50 trees fell over my 300 meters road but after counting them while clearing the road, it was 88 trees..

I was too bummed to work on it the next couple of years but started to clean it two years ago. So, yeah, the TLB will be used to help us clear out the forest and move trees so it will see much more use starting next spring than just blowing snow now.

Thanks and yes, it was something else. My daughter and her friends were at the cottage for their after grade party. We spent the (sunny) day on the lake and had just came in half an hour before the storm hit and I was preparing diner. Sadly, she had to cancel the after grade and parents came to pickup their kids through the boat launch parking. There were no way we could walk through my road. There used to be a road under this

To show the shear strength of that storm, here's the roots of a pine tree that was uprooted.

Although the kids managed to find fun in this ordeal
