source for 8n oil lines

Hi,

Does anybody know of a source for preformed oil lines for a 1948 8n? We busted the front one while removing the water pump. It was rotten and ready to blow so probably better to break it while not out in the field...We put it together with fittings and fuel lines and everything is holding pressure but I'd rather have steel lines on it.

If I can't get any preformed, I'll bend my own but thought I'd check on availability first.

I looked up a couple of the lines still available a Ford/NewHolland. Wow..!! $38+ for one, $114 for another.

It did give the thread size, 7/16-24, which is brakeline fitting size. Whether it is 3/16" or 1/4" line, I'd make my own. But that's me...

if john smith at 8nford.com has any salvage ones, they will be cheaper than either of the 2 new sources I mentioned..
