If they come on either my wife's desktop or my laptop, the security software than my cousin installed on these computers (he a Lenovo retail seller and runs his own software business and has 30 full time employees), deletes them before they ever show up in my inbox, plus we run Nord VPN on both as well as our cell phone and my browser is DDG and I run Ad Block plus as well. I get nothing in the way of pandering messages.
I also keep this laptop and her desktop tidy with CCleaner Professional edition. Both have solid state hard drives and both are huge and you cannot defrag a solid state hard drive without damaging it so I never do. It partitions itself automatically and backs itself automatically and creates a shadow file it downloads to my Western Digital 1.5 terrabyte external hard drive as well as my 1 terrabyte thumb drive. I have about 10 times the capacity I'll ever use actually. Better be safe than sorry. I lost the platter hard drive on my previous Gateway laptop and that proved to be a disaster. Was it cheap, not really but it's very safe from intrusion, pandering emails and junk. The CCleaner runs automatically in the background as well. I never touch it or load it up.
Unlike Norton or other security programs, the security software never slows this computer or my wife's computer down at all. They scream constantly. Both run Trend Microservice on the front end but you cannot buy Trend as it has to be a licensed professional install and my cousin installed everything except the Nord.
