Starter for 35 Diesel

I’m looking for a starter for my 1960 Massey Ferguson 35 diesel. I would just take it to a shop to be rebuilt, but don’t know of any in my area. The Delco part number is 1108649. If anyone knows where one can be found or a good shop I could ship mine to for repair I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I did a QUICK google search for MF 35 starter & 10 popped up for under 100.00..

All of those are the wrong part number.

The 1108649 is obsolete & has been superseded by 1107533.. hope this helps.
Finding the original perkins P# would be the best way around it..
Just get your engine model & serial # & call a Perkins Dealer & see if they'll tell you..
THEN start searching the web..

Check with an eBay seller and get a gear reduction starter with more power than the factory starter .
