Maybe longer. It's a 1969 Ford which my father bought in 1975; it's been stored inside since then, and hasn't seen a lot of use in the last decade or so. About 4-5 years ago he advertised it for $4000, got all sorts of low ballers, one person offered 2K saying "it doesn't have rear remotes", so he parked it in the barn, pulled the battery and I don't believe that it's been moved since. I tried to get it going two years ago but my spare battery wasn't powerful enough, working with old gas in the barn cellar seemed a recipe for disaster, and I had nobody to help me get it outside so I bought my Kubota instead. My brother is in town so Saturday we're going to drag it outside where I'll drain the stale gas, clean the carb, put fresh gas and a new battery in it and see if I can get it going. Once it's running we'll figure out what to do with it; my brother thinks we'll sell it for 2K or so, but for that price I'll sell the 'Bota and run the Ford.
At any rate it'll be good to see the old girl outside in the light again... then my next project will be the new waterpump and carb rebuild on the TO35 so that I can get that up here.
