Didn't say "whats a few more months". What would you choose as someone whose been waiting for your paid for order and getting it later, after they reopened, or not getting it at all and having to fight (lawyers maybe) to get your money back.You're right
those people haven't had their money or equipment for a year now, what's a few more months?
Honestly, if EA can't fill the already-paid-for orders first, they don't belong in business.
Zombie business, back from the dead but not alive yet. Put it away for good if they can't do the right thing.
What they should do (my opinion what I would do, if it was me) is to give the non-filled customers the option.
Which they may be doing when they asked for those customers to contact them. (That request implies that those records are not currently available to the current owners for some reason.) ( More information is needed.)
