Buy a new tractor and there are stickers for warnings all over the place. Some are necessary and others will never be used. If new just warm up with a hair drier and carefully peel off. First to go on my new tractor was California Proposition 65, the one where owning the tractor will cause cancer. Next to go was 5 stickers the dealership applied with their advertisement. After that was the one where the tractor might start fires. Then the stickers where dust is bad for your health were removed. Leaving critical information but removing Mfg legal CYA things.

Cars have a long list of hazzards and there are no warning stickers plastered all over the paint. Anyone else remove stickers?

I did within about 4 hours after getting it off the trailer!

I didn't think it was worth my time removing them. Some are more useful than others. Every sticker is there due to some fatal accident associated with a tractor. People are still killed by tractor accidents.

At least the OP took the time to look at and read the stickers (before removal) as that is more than many people do. Owners manual....why would anyone read that? :stirthepot:

Before your hair dryer cools down, please come do mine.

Kind of ticks me off. Machine was left outside and the paint weathered, but now the stickers make it impractical to repaint.

I'm surprised some Safety Sammy hasn't pulled the lawsuit card yet. You know, the one where you'll have to install all the stickers back on if you ever sell it or you'll get sued when the new owner gets cancer from the vinyl seat. Whatever you do, DON'T get within a 36" radius of the ROPS with a drill bit!

<snert> When I bought my 4105 I added a third function on the FEL (300CX)... when delivered, the block was added onto the RH post of the FEL on top/obscuring a whole 'column' of warning stickers.

500+ hrs and I'm, somehow, still alive and have all my fingers & toes.
