Yes, it actually as a throttle lock for cruise. I believe we have around 55 K reregistering and another 20-30 k. Just driving through. Second generation are beginning to come, I've been going for over 25 yrs.

I think that is all mine is too. It seems to throttle back a little when you release the pedal but I seldom use it unless my foot is getting tired

That's a lot of people in one spot. I bet it's a lot of fun too...

I adjusted my return spring about a 1/4" shorter and it appears to be working. Sorry for the late reply but I was travelling for a bit. Peddles are a bit stiff but I'm getting used to them now.

I was basically having the same problem as you. I was having to constantly hitting the reverse pedal. Now it comes to a stop real good and pretty quick too. Let me know if it works...

Good to hear it worked. I don't have any trouble with mine anymore. You probably have that cruise control on it. I use it occasionally when my foot gets tired.

Have the same issue on my 1528, I'll get under there and see if I can find the spring you guys are mentioning. Not a big deal, I'm always ready to kick the pedal in the opposite direction. But if my father-in-law gets on it he's not always as quick to reverse direction.

You'll find it. Mine is a little hard to get at but is do able. Mine is right in the middle and is attached to the hydro pedals..

My peddles stuck under a load but not only would keep moving but at times when digging into a pile of dirt would stall the engine unless I hit the return peddle, very hazardous when nearing the garage or lining up to attach and implement.

My 1531 sticks until the transmission warms up then it is fine.

You said it's doing better now though? If not you might tighten it up a little more. I had to do mine twice before I got it right.

I have used the tractor a lot this week building a cement block retaining wall, to dig and load gravel around and it appears to returning alright now I and pleased for your tip!
