Stihl brush knife on FS 250

I need to try one of those triangular brushblades. I like the idea of not slinging stuff everywhere like the string head does. As for kickback with the saw blade, yeah you figure out real quick which side of the blade to do the cutting from.

I use the Brush Knife on an FS 90 to clear a swampy area that rarely dries up enough to mow. It does a great job on the tough swamp grass, and cattails. Along the edge of the creek that runs through the lower edge of the property it makes short work of the blackberry vines and multiflora roses that leave marks on your arms when you mow. If there is a more hateful plant than the multiflora rose I never found it.
