Anyone have the definitive answer as to whether or not TrimmerPlus attachments can be made to work with the Stihl Kombi engine heads? I've read yes and no.
I had the TrimmerPlus boom extension in the store today and it would not mate perfectly with the Kombi boom extension. The outer shaft fits but the inner shaft doesn't seem to. You can't turn one shaft with the other by hand after mating. Not smoothly like when they aren't connected anyway.
Pulling out both inner, square shafts and comparing them side-by-side it looks like the Stihl shaft is slightly smaller in diameter than the TrimmerPlus one.
Anyone actually using them together? Or tried using them together?
