Still shopping for a used Tractor

Anyone with an opinion about the best way to go, buy a newer model 5000 series John Deere or an older John Deere like a 3010 or a 2750. With the newer models I am concerned with the room for the operator as I am fairly large, on the older models I am concerned they will not last and need too many repairs. The newer models I have found are about 4 to 5 thousand more than the older models.
