Kioti DK35, Case 1190
Just bought a DK35 w/Great Bend BH. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on a compliment of useful tools... I belive everything is metric???
Is there need for a 3/4 Metric drive set? or special snap ring pliers etc... Trying to put my Christmas list together...Thought there might be some insightful ideas out there, that I wouldn't think about till 20 minutes after I figure out I need it.........Thanks.....Great site!!!

I haven't run into anything special. My tractor toolbox inventory is limited to extra lynch pins for the loader, a grease gun, and an assortment of tools to keep the implements in running shape. The tractor itself shouldn't need many "field" tools.

Every tractor should have some baling twine and wire in its toolbox. I am not saying you should use them or will need them. These things just make it look like a truely working tractor!

TSC has a holiday special on metric crescent wrenches. Get the multi size kit which includes the small, (6 to 10mm, medium 11-16mm, and the large 17-26mm sizes) & that should cover your nuts, except for wheel studs & the like which you'll need a stud wrench (4 way in metric ) which will work for front & back wheel studs. I got my last wheel big stud wrench from city service supply in Indiana. If you get the folding one it'll fit right behind the seat or in the box. Good to have some fast orange hand waterless cleaner in the box too for cleaning up after any quick repairs.

Grease gun, pliers, hammer, roll of duct tape. Lots of spare pins. That is usually enough to cover most issues in a day.

I only work in the day, but if you think you will be out after dark it pays to carry a small bottle of headlight fluid, you dont want your lights running out when you are far from home and having to drive back with no lights.

A roll of string is also useful. Handy when used with the duct tape for and quick repairs you might need to carry out. I took out a guy wire for a aeriel a while back, and I replaced it with some rope I had on the tractor until I could do a better job. Rope is also useful for tethering any animals that come too close to the tractor.
