I'm going to change over to a synthetic Motor oil at 100 or so hours. Not sure which one at this time, but sythetic for sure.
Question is do I have to flush any lines that you know of or is it just the simple drain, filter change?
Thought about the HYDro synthetic change, but order a 2.5 gallon jug of the super UDH, so it'll have to wait for now.

Most synthetic oils like Amsoil are compatible with regular oils. In changing the oil I would warm up the engine for 10-15 minutes and drain bothe the crankcase and the remove the filter. Refill with synthetic.
I switched out to synthetic oil and have not regretted it. The main reason is for cold engine lubrication. Now when I start at -10 or so the engine is much quieter. Up here, we have a lot of below zero weather and way too much snow!

I would do a oil filter change a few hours after switching over to synthetic. Synthetic oils have a tendency to clean out an engine, not that there would be much to clean after approx. 100 hours but a filter and some make up oil is cheap insurance.

since your bx has so few hours, just do a drain and fill like you would normally would. That is all you need.

Unless you switched to something else at the fifty hour service, your BX23 should already have the Super UDT in it. Also, as per the manual, only the engine oil is supposed to be changed at the 100 hour service.

Thank you, I remember changing aoutmatic tranny fluid in a spoorts car one time and it was preety critical to flush the lines, however in had a trannsmission cooler under the radiator.
As for the oil change at 100 hrs and hydo change at 50. One of the items I requested is the fluid change on the tractor prior to final sale which occured at 82 hours. I would like to think the hydo was swapped at 50, but am unsure as there is no record of it in the previous owners manual. As for the engine oil, it does look to be very clean on the dipstick, so I can only assume the dealer honored my requests. However I thought I would do everything at 100 hrs for the piece of mind.
