T7074 Transmission leak

I have a leak coming from the transmission shift lever. (Montana T7074) Looking at the parts diagram, its leaking where the lever goes into the transmission. It would appear there is no replaceable seal at that point. What y'all think? (The red arrow)

What have you tried? It’s been a while since your post. I would think some packing would help.
