Tajfun EVG35a logging winch

So I was able to go look at a tajfun evg45a winch in person thanks to PatMcd. Funny enough he is actually neighbors with a friend of mine. Shows how it really is a small world. Regardless, I was definitely able to see that compared to the other winches that I’ve been looking at, for the money it’s the best deal. Definitely extremely well built, comes with way more accessories and way more cable and everything looked robotically welded, I really like the automatic band brake system as well. I can definitely say that the tajfun egg 45a is too big for my tractor but the tajfun evg35a is exactly what I want. Funny enough a few days prior to being able to go look at pats winch, I was able to get a great deal on a barely used fransgard V4000 winch. I definitely like it but it’s a little big for my machine. I’m in hopes I’ll be able to flip it and get the tajfun winch at some point. If not I still have a good winch either way.

Finally after buying and selling a used Norse 3081, a used fransgard V4000 and a used Farmi JL351P I ended up right where I thought id be with a brand new Tajfun EGV 35a winch. My other winches were all great but this tajfun is next level! There’s absolutely no comparison.
