Customer points out to me the pole barn is history. Twenty four by thirty six with a galvanized tin covering and waterproof from umpteen coats of paint.
I mention it to a bud.
A deal is made. Free for the taking.
So Sunday a week ago three of us with four sawsalls and various hammers did the deed.
All that bud will use probably will be the trusses and some of the lumber. Comparable trusses he priced at seven hundred dollars. So a days labor for friends is not a bad investment.
Old pole barns are usually put up with ring shank nails and by guys who figure that if two nails will work six will work better longer.
So we cut the nails and took it down in sections. Bud is smarter than he looks.
