Need some backward facing work lights on my new tractor for this winter.

Will probably just run a separate wiring harness and switch direct from the battery, but curious if others have found viable options to wire LED work lights into the factory harness without splicing anything.

Would be great if I could wire these up so they just come on with the headlights.

I did notice an unused connector on the rear up under one of the turn signal/hazard flashers.

Those are the wires you need.
iirc there's one on each side but not 100% sure.

Look under the left rear fender, that is where the factory work light harness is. It is usually taped up (with blue tape on my machine), so just peel off the tape and the connector is there. Runs back to a 10A fuse in the main panel. You'll need to add a switch after the connector then run to your lights.

Some people have sourced a matching connector, but I just popped the metal blades out of the harness connector and then connected to them (it's a standard 1/4" blade connector if I remember right).

On my New Holland, the plug was like a 2 prong trailer light plug (available at an auto parts store).

Its not a terribly common connector. But all Kubotas have them under the left fender. Except the cabbed machines, where its behind the cab pillar over the left fender.

Original 2 pin Power connector for VHF/UHF Power cords - Power source side | Powerwerx don't remember if you need the male or female one, but they have both.

Found the wire there myself and ended up putting a switch under the storage tray, near the controls, for my lights on the rear. Less running wire and world of a difference hooking up, and backing up in the evenings/night. Should have done it years ago.

For me, there was just a female end and a male end.
