About 20 miles west of Camden/Rockland. Moosehead is great too, my father in-law has a camp up on the west shore. I'm actually down in your neck if the woods right now, (looks like you're not far from Hudson?) I work on a tug boat in NYC...

I'm about 20 miles southeast of Hudson.
We have close friends with connections to Belfast and stayed there last summer. Much more laid back than Camden. Camden's nice, but Belfast/ Searsport is more our style.

Small world, I have a sister who lived in Chatham for a few years. And yes, I usually avoid Camden. Rockland is my "home port". Belfast has come a long way in the last few years; nice atmosphere, good food. Don't miss Three Tides/Marshals Wharf for some of the best craft brews anywhere...
