TC25D Capabilities

I'm considering a 25hp (Gross) TC25D for light landscape work and 5' bush hog work.

Any one using one of these, and how does it perform?

I'm operating on a budget, ...ya understand.

There are seven (7) members listed in the User List that show they own TC25's. I'm sure there are more, but they just didn't list them in their bios. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I have had one for a couple of years now and it does everything I want it to do. Great tractor and I love the Hydrostatic drive and super steer. Check out the difference in cost as I think I would go with the 33 if I were to do it again. Although as I stated the 25 has done everything I have asked of it. I got the 25D at a good price with 5' MM and Fel so could not justify the 33 at the time of purchase. I am very satisfied with the TC25D.

I've owned a "hybrid" 25D, the 29D for over a year now. IMO, these are great tractors. I think it would meet your needs. Watch out, once you start using it you'll find a lot of other uses for it.

Did you purchse yet? I'd stick with the 33 for the price difference.

I have a 25D, and have done some very heavy tilling. I also go up some very steep hills. I expected bogging because I bought the 25 instead of the 33. I was wrong. It doesn't even breathe hard. Outside of some initial quality control and dealer prep issues, I am very happy. The difference in price between the 25 and 33 equals a nice implement for me. Uh ... who am I kidding. It meant the difference between approval and rejection by the CFO.

Well,
I did make a purchase. Turns out a friend of mine decided to sell his Kioti. He sold it with a bunch of attachments - I couldn't pass it up.
