Have trash in my fuel tank. Need to clean tank. The grommet that the fuel line attaches to on bottom of tank will turn/spin. Can this grommet be safely pryed out?
Tc35, 2007 year model. About 900 easy hours.

To the TBN forum Chuck. You came to the right place to get answers.

Do you have a Work Shop Manual (WSM)? Some times you can use a parts list picture and description to determine if it will pop out.

Thank you. Do not have a manual. Probably should get one.

Chuck... Not sure if you got your answer yet or not, but the bushing on the bottom of the tank will come out. Pull the barbed brass 90 out first then just take your time & work it out slowly as it has a flared end that keeps it in.

I just had mine out of my TC40D (unfortunately for a much bigger project) but it looks like your TC35 uses the same part (part #86532842). I wound up installing a new one (again much bigger project) but my original one came out fine & I'm sure was reusable. Worse case it cracks due to dry rot or something but the new one is only like $17, doubt you will need one though.
