I am doing an R&R on my TC40D starting motor. I have a 17LA loader and backhoe attached. Backhoe not a factor.
What I am curious as I have to travel 2 hours to get to the farm (and most of my tools are at other house) - is c- Is there anything tricky about removing the starter. Was there the other day and found I could not get a socket on the bolts/nuts holding the starter in place due to several tubes (hydraulic???) being in the way. So I will take some open end (with ratchet type) up with me next time, but do I have to also disconnect the tubes to get it out???
Don't have a service manual (yet - but looking for one under $500) and can't tell from any of the posts as to there being an issue on R&R starter motors , with the loader on the TC40D
Thanks for any help
Rich
