TC45DA Whining while in forward

Morning all,

I'm hearing a whining noise when going forward only. I have changed rpms and that only changes the noise level.

Any ideas?

It is normal for a HST to whine. That is why I got a CVT for mowing.

I bought this tractor in August, This is not the normal whine from the HST, it is a higher pitched whine.

Also, the further I push the forward pedal the more it whines.

I'm in the process of ordering all new filters (hydro, air, oil) to do a full fluid change to see if that may help (needed anyway).

Just make sure you use the correct fluid for your temps. Sounds like a viscosity whine? Good luck.
