TC55DA, SSS Transmission questions

My manual says it is possible and acceptable to shift from forward to reverse without clutching. I thought this was only possible with the EHSS transmissions.

EHSS/Power shuttle only.

When you try it make sure your under warranty.. with ear protection.

Check manual carefully.I thought same thing when I read mine.It`s only for the ESS trannys. With ours you can still be rolling and shift without stopping but, have to use clutch.
