Teeth and Shanks for a toothbar??

All the talk about buying and building toothbars, I'm thinking of building one now. I think it would really help with some of my projects, so my question is which size shanks and teeth are best sized for my loader and pros and cons of either the cast or fabricated teeth? Also what is the best size spacing for the teeth, not sure if I would like 6 or 8 teeth total?

Been looking at the fabco 2A or the 3C series but not sure which would be the better size.

Loader is a Kubota LA482 66" wide bucket

I did a quick search, and it looks like the adapter on the 2A simply is welded on. The 3C is also welded on, but it has a pocket to seat on the bucket cutting edge. So I guess that the 2A is for a permanent install, but the 3C is for a tooth bar.

As far as a cast versus fabricated, with the amount of use you will most likely encounter, I don't believe there will be a noticeable difference in either how they wear or how well they dig.

I have never seen a larger piece of equipment with a fabricated tooth, always cast, which I believe is to facilitate easy replacement for wear.

I have been around skid loaders with tooth bars for many years. I don't remember ever noticing excessive wear on the teeth, unlike the teeth on an excavator bucket.

Thanks for the tooth info, also Fabco makes three different types of 2A shanks, here is the pic of the shank style and tooth I may use.

I have been talking with a buddy and I may keep a eye out for a used skid steer bucket local and and get the weld on style shank and have a separate tooth bucket along with my standard bucket.
