I recently bought a Kubota ZD21 on the premise of there being a local Kubota dealer, which there is. Unfortunately, I just assumed Kubota is Kubota and they would service anything orange. As it turns out, they have no interest in even speaking to someone with a ZT machine.
I had read about the HST upgrade kit, but after asking my local dealer and 2 others, nobody had a clue what I was talking about and nobody seemed interested enough to dig deeper for me.
I contacted Messicks and within a few hours, Steve had put me in touch with Les in service and I had the part number I needed as well as very helpful information. I ordered the kit and installed it a few days later.
As Internet consumers, we're often quick to share our bad experiences, but few take the time to praise the rare breed of organizations that are still customer focused. I just wanted to thank the guys at Messicks for providing an excellent experience backed with clear knowledge of what they're selling, which too is a rarity these days.
Fortunately, I have the equipment (hoist, shop, tools) to tackle things that may come up -- but while I've worked on large diesels, cars, boats, etc. - this is new territory for me. I'm very appreciative that someone has my back, even while my local dealers snub their collective noses.
I'm in the market for an L or M series CUT - I surely won't be going to a local dealer for it.
Thanks again, Messicks crew!
