Hi Everybody,

Well, it's that time again. Another milestone for TBN. This time, we're counting down to the 2,000,000th message posted to the forums. And as is customary on TBN, we're going to add a little fun to the celebration.

Which post count will count for 2 Million? The 2 millionth post on ever TBN (ie: the post with the post number of 2,000,000), or the 2 millionth post CURRENTLY on TBN? ie: your post starting this thread is post 1,990,244 but the postcount on the front page (which may not count deleted posts) is at 1,987,922 as of 11:46 eastern on 13 Jun.
Looking at recent posts, it appears that the post count on the front page is off by ~5000 posts from the "post number" that each post gets (probably the number of deleted posts over the years)

EDIT: As another example, this post is post #1,993,380 according to the unique post number, but the number on the front page says that there are only 1,987,925 posts for a difference of 5455 posts
