Tractor
Kubota L3901 HST w/ FEL, ST2046
The owners manual for my new L3901 says I need to change the oil, and filter, plus the HST filter at 50 hours. I can't seem to find any part numbers? The Kubota site does not list my model, Messick's doesn't either. The closest dealer is 40 miles from me and I was hoping to cross reference the number with a NAPA filter, but I can't even find a Kubota number. I guess they don't expect me to put that many hours on a tractor in 4 weeks??? Can anyone help. When I did a search on this site I found info on most every model except mine.

Call the parts department at your selling dealer. They will have your parts/filter numbers

What good is an owner's manual without that sort of information? Basic maintenance is, after all, a customer responsibility...

I know that opinions differ, but I would stick with Kubota filters during the warranty period.:2cents:

Okay, how do I order one? I have no problem with getting one in the mail and doing it myself, but it is hard for me to get to a dealer during working hours and I haven't found one open on Sunday, NAPA is, but I still need to know what it is I am ordering

Order Kubota filters from your nearest dealer, they can ship them to you.

If you have a friend at a NAPA or Autozone, take the filter to them and they can match one up to it. I used to have to do that on the track backhoes and platform lifts our company used to lease. Lots of weird Japanese equipment with no help from the leasing co.

If you go to Kubota Tractor Corporation and click on the Parts menu, then select Illustrated Parts List button in the middle of the page, you can get into the IPL search. Accepts the terms and conditions then enter your tractor (L3901) then click search. You should be able to find your exact model then click open. This will present you with the full IPL manual. From there you can find everything you need. I believe there are "Frequenty Used Items" at the top.

I do recommend using Genuine Kubota stuff. Once you have part numbers, you can order online through various Kubota dealers.

All the Kubota part numbers for filters etc. should be in your owners manual.
