1987 john deere 855 sold and bought a YT235 Yanmar, love this tractor
My YT235 is still at the South Glens Falls dealership, checked in with them about an o-ring on the connection to backhoe, 90° connection leaking. Waiting for that to be ordered, not any progress on the loader only able to lift 710lbs. Discouragement is starting to set in. The Yanmar representative contacted me through email, he only said he wants me to be happy with my purchase, and also reported he's leaving the corporation. I've reached out to them and wondered if they think I'm a problem customer?
No contact since the initial contact email. Three weeks now and two weeks before on the earlier repair for the four wheel drive not working. Am I being too impatient, the original call to service told me six weeks because of mechanics in training, vacations, new equipment prepared for delivery, etc, etc.
So, I will stop in today and see if any progress has been made.

Any update on this?
John called from the dealership to say everything is fixed and will be delivered on Saturday, I am so happy about that. He reported that there were three o-ring leaks from what I understand and also pump was down 300 psi from maximum factory settings. So as soon as the driver unloads, I'll have him drive to the back yard to do a quick check by lifting my 3 point mower, just want to be sure everything is up to par.

Thanks for the update. I’m considering a YT235 cab tractor. One thing I’ll do before purchasing is test the loader to see if it’ll lift what it’s spec’d for.

I bought a YT359C this year and am working hard this year. Everything seems to be working fine so far. This tractor has been worth every penny

Got it back, turns out not 3, just 1 at $1.49 o-ring, and pump pressure down by 300 psi, seems to be working ok, lifted my 710lb finish mower with no problem, I couldnt lift it more than 4 feet before the service. Did try and move a huge tree root ball dug out from my contractor and left in the middle of door yard. Two local sons came over chain sawed the wits out of them both. But it was bigger and heavier than I expected. Drove under it straight bucket, chained the stump, lifted and curled, just barely up in the air, skidded some, but made it deep in the woods.
I am at some point going up and speak to dealership owners, I thank the Lord I'm not a one tractor gentleman farm, repair times were alittle lengthy in my opinion and this is warranty work. Warranty work parts should be fedexed no questions asked, but arent.
Thanks to all of you guys, before my YT235 purchase I was reading every single post on here about Yanmars. Wealth of information...thank you.

A few were asking prices, we went back and forth, first was looking at a 72" belly mower, told we dont offer one only a 60" also want to switch from a B75 backhoe to a B80 nope, cant do that either...a little stiff with the option book. Scraped the mid mount mower, and bought used 72" 3 point. But after $34,642.49 and at zero percent for 5 years.

My LX Loader, which is very similar to the YT347 loader, can slide a one-ton pallet off a truck and set it down. It can't, however, lift a full one-ton pallet to truck bed height.

All in all I've been very happy with it. I do recommend checking the nuts under the loader stick. The nuts can become loose and interfere with the stick operation. If you find them loose, apply some lock-tite and snug them up.

I had a couple of issues with mine right after purchase. I had some "0" rings fail and one hose ruptured. I will say that the dealership was working on my tractor before I left the yard. They had to wait for the hose because it was covered under warranty but it was fixed in about a week and it will lift a bucket over filled with gravel with ease.

Loader on my YT359 cab works well. I use it every week loading and unloading 18 wheelers. I have lifted up to around 2500lbs. Only issue was a leaking fuel tank fixed under warranty. The dealer drove 2 hours one way to come out and pick uo the tractor and fixed over a weekend and brought it back promptly.
