Just getting out of "black fly" season, the regular mosquito's are taking over for them now. The Dragon fly's are a big help along with copious amounts of .......

And wash in that 10-10-10 that I put out just as the rain started coming down. I then sat in my truck watching the lightning and listening to the thunder, until it morphed into a slow steady rain. It will be a good night for sleeping.

Yeah, it's cool now...........but .......it blew down the corn, potatoes and some unstaked tomato plants........just for 0.12 inches of rain....with limbs, stix and leaves all over.

Do you have the same "June bugs" in Maine? I haven't seen any so far this year in NC.

We didn't get the wind, but about 1/4 inch of water looks pretty good when I left this AM my beans and corn were perking up. I didn't get home until well after dark, so hopefully the crows didn't come along and decide that my corn was tall enough to harvest.
