Goodguy, I am sure you will want an hydraulicly actuated one that also swivels... That will add one stick, lemme see I think I can come up with uses for a fourth one....

Mike...
Hydraulic Thumb would be preferred but not 100% necessary, this would be a dollars and sense decision. The hydraulics could be an add-on later as well for some of the products I've seen although I've not seen any units mounted on a 47 hoe specifically. Mike, I've never seen a "swivel" thumb; please elaborate, you've got my interest.

I dunno, but I bet that kit is not welded at all, merely parts, But should be a snapp to weld up. (listen to me, can I weld?!!!)

Eric,
I purchased one from these guy's last fall. They couldn't have given better service. The whole kit is in pieces as it looks like on the pic.You have to weld the entire thing together and then to your arm.The welding takes a lot more time than you would think as it has to be straight but it is not rocket science /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.I will post a pic for you to see and if you want to see in person I am on your way to Halifax so you could drop by.
