I am looking into buying a King Kutter tiller for my 335. I was wondering what size would be ideal? Would the 72" be to much since it is on the low end of the manufactures spec of 35-50 hp? I would like to get one large enough to cover my tracks. Does anyone have some info?

What type of ground will you be using it in? If your not fighting rocks and roots and other hidden things in the ground, I think that you could very easily use a 72" tiller. I have a Mahindra 3215HST(4-6hp less than your 335) and have a CCM 58" tiller. I could use a 72" unit in my top soil without problems.

If you want a bullit proof Geardrive roto tiller, we have the Hawkline by Behlen with 6 tines per rotor, extra bracing, slip clutch PTO and scroll mount pattern for the tines. 5 ft $1595. 6 ft $1695. Shipping cheap. Check the weights on the spec sheet below. Ken Sweet

I might be in the woods a bit with it but it would mostly be in the clear. I live in northern Michigan where the ground varies place to place. Looking to use it for food plots.

Mr. Ken, is there any info online about your hawkline tillers? Could not seem to much at manufactures web site. Also now taking a look at your product line, hawkline makes a universal plate to fit bobtach systems? Do you carry those? If you do what are the #'s on that? Thanks

I posted the Mfgrs spec sheet on the tiller. The only other thing I could post would be the parts breakdown. Do you need that? We don't stock the universal plate, however, could get you one on the next truck. It is not on my price list, so I would need to call Hawkline by Behlen to get that for you. (must be a new product for them) Ken Sweet

It really depends on your soil type and if this a hydro or gear drive tractor? Speed could be an issue.

If you need any specific specs, let me know.

King Kutter makes a lot of different types of equipment, but I think Rotary Tillers is something that we've really got figured out. We've been making them a long time, and we sell A LOT of them. I'm positive that you would be really happy with a King Kutter Gear Drive Rotary Tiller.

Good luck with your purchase whatever you decide! Just make sure it's right for you!

Mr. Kutter, my tractor is a hydro drive with pto only rated at 26.5 hp. If I had the 6 foot tiller would it be something I would just have to go slower with when using as compared to a larger tractor? I gather that not everybody runs the tiller at 540 RPM.

I don't need the parts breakdown, at least not right now, but thanks though. I was just curious on the cost of the bob-tach plates because I have a few ideas. Thanks Ken.

It will probably work, but I'd say your GROUND speed will have to slow down, b/c 26.5 PTO HP is definitely on the low end of the scale. 540 RPM at the Power Take Off is definitely the recommended working speed.

Honestly, If I were you, I'd go for the 5' model, b/c your tractor would handle it much better. That is my honest opinion.
