Hi all,
neighbor asked me to look at their mower since it was not cutting evenly. New Toro blades P/n 106-2247-03 where installed recently with little or no change in performance. They are using this as a mulcher and it appears like once they get into grass of any density or height the right side blade is being over loaded and is not lifting the grass to be cut. Deck does not have the air moving hum/drone that most ZTR mowers have.
I cleaned the under side of the deck with no change.
I removed the belt gaurd in order to observe the drive pulley easier. It does not appear to be slowing from belt slippage and the pulley does not get hot which would indicate belt slippage.
Does Toro make "Hi-Lift" mulching blades for this model? I could not see this as an option on their parts viewer. Existing blades look like standard side discharge blades.
Are Gator 3n1 blades good blades.
TIA
Roy
