I've driven away with things I've put on my car roof while I load something or help with another task. I now consiously put larger stuff on the hood and papers, envelopes, etc. under the wiper blade. I'll see them before I drive away now and haven't screwed up since.

I religiously make a list and then go off without it. Sometimes I throw my hat in front of the door to remind me and then go out a different door.: But I have an old age excuse so it's okay and it wasn't probably all that important anyway.:confused2:

Helicoil worked good on my aluminum intake manifold Onan 18 HP, Case garden tractor.:thumbsup:

I stripped out the bleed screw on my 855's fuel filter when i overtightened it. Thought about a helicoil, but was worried the tolerance wouldn't be tight enough so I jsut replaced the part. Anyone tried a helicoil for the purpose? Would it work under pressure?
