Tire pressure to set bead on rear tire?

Broke stem on my NH TC29. Used ether to get bead back to rim. How much tire pressure to get it to properly set bead to rim. Hanks

If you use some tire lube (looks like grease) the tire should slip on and seal just fine with normal air pressure.
Also will deter rust from forming around the edges of the rim.

I've used ether before to do the same thing and it is always exciting. Recently I had to use a strap and ratchet to do the same thing and it was much less fun!!

The bead should properly seat with 30 psi

Then adjust down to your recommend setting.

Some tires, like ATV all terrain, very low pressure will state on the sidewall the mounting and seating pressure vs operational. 30 psi mounting for an 18 max rated tire as 223 mentioned is along those lines.

On the tire grease, yes it does look like G2 grease. I have problems mounting small diameter, 11 and 12" wide tires on my mowers so I take them to the tire shop. Have had some real bears and the only way the guy at the shop was able to get them mounted, after he exhausted all other possible means at his disposal, was to pack the area between the tire and the wheel with the stuff....gobs of it......and hit it with the air. Works every time.
