Traction Tire Swap - R-14 Versa Turf In - R-4 Out

I am on paved surfaces and I didn稚 notice any slippage. I don稚 have a backhoe but my rear tires are filled. I have a front snow plow on my front end loader. I was pushing about 9 inches of snow.
I got a pack of 12 blades and only used one. That groover gets pretty hot so wear protective gloves and long sleeves just in case. Picture was taken before I grooved the tires.

Update: I just got done snow blowing about 7" of packed snow with 2 foot banks the town snow plow pushed at the end of my driveway. The Versa Turfs had fantastic traction from the rears, however the fronts slid a bit when turning on a slope and in greasy snow conditions along the road. Over all, so far, I am extremely pleased with the traction and performance of the Versa Turfs, as well as the GC and 2360 snow blower.

So it appears that the main reason that I would change tires for would not be helped by these tires. Lateral slipping on the front it the only thing I'm seeing, but then I've seen it in every tractor I've ever had and I'm rather used to handling equipment that does this. I was thinking about getting a kick attach front blade to use instead of using the bucket but that would meant the front of the tractor would likely end up sliding due to the angle of the blade. Maybe a snow pusher, will see.

I mowed my lawn for the first time today with the Versa Turfs. The traction was excellent on my hilly property and they did not tear up my lawn, nor leave impressions in it. I mowed last Fall with the R-4's that came on the GC1723, which did leave some impressions. The grass/ground was similar in condition in regards to moisture level, firmness etc. as it was in Autumn, which is moderately moist.

For my needs, mowing on hilly terrain and snow blowing, the Versa Turfs work very well and I am extremely pleased with them.
