I too got a letter. Sadly, this morning I was notified of a fraudulent charge and the cancellation of my card. The good news is the pallet forks and bale spear are still working :)

I received that letter a few days ago. Bought pallet forks from them a few months ago. Checked my card and haven't seen any fraud ... yet.

Well, I may reconsider buying the tree boom from them that I have been eyeing.

Many years ago I got a call from Visa. Wanted verbal authorization for $400 dollars of women's clothing in Pennsylvania. That went well. They refused the charges and I had a new card by overnight delivery. Never found the individual but found the company where the individual worked. First & last dealings with that company.

I don't know if you have to go that far. I just wanted to give the members a heads up on the letter I received. The people I spoke to at Titan were very helpful and the implement I ordered was good quality at a good price.

I did not have any fraudulent charges on the card I used, but out of an abundance of caution, I contacted AmEx and asked them to send me a new card since other members had unauthorized charges on their card.

Stolen credit card numbers are a fact of life if you use your card much. My wife and I put better than $50,000 a year on credit cards (includes groceries and utilities) and have had our cards compromised three times in the past couple of years. Never have found how it happened. Most times the credit card companies caught it before we saw the bill, though once we found $19.95 for "Amazon Prime" charges. Turned out the perp had put that card on half a dozen Amazon accounts but had made only the one charge.

Replacement cards are no big deal except for having to learn a new number for online purchases. Only hassle was the time my card company called the evening before I had a flight across the country. No problem - they delivered my new card the next day to my son's home in California.

I got one of these letters. The thing is, there was malware embedded into their site that took whatever a person entered into the forms and sent it to the bad guys. So even though i checked out as a "guest" my info was still lost.

It's a pain, but hopefully a wake up call for the small companies.

It has been about 6 months and there has been no fraud on my card. *crossing my fingers*
