1984 Kubota B7200D (Sold 2015,) 2005 L39 Kubota, 2006 RTV 900 1997 Komatsu PC75UU2E w/ Thumb & Blade, 2013 Mahindra Max28XL Shuttle
Attached are the spec sheets for the L45 and both the Original L39 Tier 3 and the Teir4 Interim later model that went out of production in 2014 I believe.

Note that the Bucket Breakout force at the Pivot pin is for the Tier 4 model is 4605 lbs while on the older model the breakout force is 3560 lbs.

The L45 Spec Lists the Bucket Breakout force at the Pivot pin is At 4531 lbs. I know the L45 has larger curl cylinders than my old L39.

The Lift cylinders are mounted differently on the L45 Accounting for the slight variation in lift ant Pins at max height, but what gives with the over 1000 lb increase in breakout with the old L39 vs. Newer spec?
My question is what is the newer L39 Bucket cylinder OD. Mine measures about 70.5mm or 2.78"?

Does anyone have a late model L39 that could measure the O.D. of the bucket cylinders?

I would suspect Kubota did not increase cylinder size as increasing capacity would load up that fragile grand L front 4 bolt Axle, where the L45/L47 have uprated 5 Bolt axles.

Thank

Mike
