Thanks to all. The tractor is 2wd and there is only air in the tires. There are some mild hills in the area, nothing very steep. I never got the feeling I was being pushed around much. Only in 3 to 4 foot tall grass did I notice a slight, and I do mean very slight loss of rpm's. I guess I sort of answered my own question......but I never thought that little tractor would do more than a 7 to 8 foot cutter without a real overload. Thanks to everyone. Ironpen
