Does anybody use a spinner knob on their steering wheel? My brother put one on the 2800 which was my father's, because he's tired of using his finger to spin the wheel.
I find it to be a PITA, but he likes it and it's a shared machine.
I like the spinner set 8 o'clock, hand when mowing snow removal like today.

Here we go! Not sure of the technical terms, but my Kubota MX6000 steering acts like it may be hydraulic. The steering wheel is constantly adjusting, so the spoke that is at 8 o'clock while traveling straight could later end up being at the 2 o'clock position while traveling straight.

Therefore, I have - 3 - suicide knobs on my steering wheel. One is mounted adjacent to each spoke on the steering wheel. The angle of the steering wheel prevents them from getting in the way, and having 3 makes it so I always have one easily available for my left hand when operating the loader, or when mowing.

Sounds crazy, but it's way more convenient than one might imagine. Maybe not my best use of $30 bucks, but it's up there near the top of the list.

I noticed recently in one of Mr. Gordon's photos that he appears to have 2 on at least one of his tractors.

Never been a fan of the spinners, maybe a throwback to learning to drive without power steering on the tractors and have the wheel spin when hitting rocks or wood chuck holes.

Couple of hours today (actually 3 hrs) on the little Kioti 2620 moving snow.
Soggy wet snow on unfroze gravel, once I got out on the main driveway I could float the bucket and by playing with the curl while moving slowly not tear up gravel.

It works for you, so... besides I can think of many times I've wasted 30 bucks on things more frivolous. 😘

Got about 15 more old sweet cherry trees extracted and hauled before our 1-2 feet of snow that’s forecasted hits.
Lil 60 Volvo is 7 years old and crowding 1500 hrs , been one of the best and trouble free equipment purchases I’ve ever made 🎉.

I have always used a spinner, put one on every tractor. They allow easy steering operation much quicker than you you can do hand over hand with less effort. I find it indispensable when mowing.
Problem I'm having with the Kubota power steering is the knob never lands in the same place twice. I see a picture above of a steering wheel with 3 spinners on it - that guy must have the same problem lol.

I have a spinner on my M5640 and it moves around but it doesn't bother me a bit. I'm mostly jigging around in the woods often with a trailer and the spinner makes it way easier for me - especially turned around sideway backing.
