I have just joined the group of Markham toothbar buyers. My experiences with Markham were all good. As many of you have said in your postings, Melissa is great!
Interestingly, Markham was not my first choice. I wanted an EZ Standard toothbar. The EZ Standard cannot be ordered direct from the manufacturer. To get their toothbar you must go through one of their many dealers. I called the dealers in my area, 25 to 60 miles distant and found a dealer who said they had one in stock. All the others would have to order what I wanted. This dealer was the one most distant, 60 miles, they said they had it in stock and they had the best price.
I wasn't able to make the drive right away so I called two or three more times to be certain that they had what I wanted and that they kept it for me. I was assured they did and would. When I drove the 60 miles what I was shown was a toothbar that looked very much like the Markham design. I asked them if it was a Markham but they didn't know. It was obvious that it wasn't the EZ Standard. These guys didn't know what they had. I told them that is not what I had been told they had on hand and returned home.
While driving home, I decided that I may as well but the Markham bar and have it delivered to my front gate for less than what these guys were wanting me to pay for one.
I called Melissa and my toothbar will be delivered today. Based upon the reviews from all who have one, I plan to be happy with my purcahse.
I did email EZ Standard and told them this story. I suggested that they may want to consider direct sales. They are losing sales by their dealers, at least this particular dealer cost them a sale.

Sounds like you are making a good decision, although it would have been cheaper to just listen to us than to waste 2.00 & a gal for fuel just to get...I don't know who built this TB when your standing there asking the question...I'm sure it just burned your ***** all the way home:)...
Sorry I couldn't resist this morning just had my wheaties in all ya know:)

I'm sure you will be pleased with the Markham TB...sounds like you were pleased with that little gal taking your order.....:)

Being a newcomer, I had no idea there are differences in toothbars. I just paid $350 for a very handsome and effective one. One of the guys that work at the Kubota dealer basically welded on the teeth onto a straight piece of heavy iron and it bolts into the 66 inch FEL. I am happy with it.

Give or take a few bucks if they work they are worth it. I have no affiliation with Markhem but again it came to my door and was a quality product with no inconviences......Everything is good as long as it saves me work......

A most pleasant experience ordering from Markham. I did feel sorry for the old UPS guy - he was really huffing when he came up to the garage with the toothbar in hand. It's a long walk from the road where he leaves his truck.

Very pleased with the tooth bar.
