I have just joined the group of Markham toothbar buyers. My experiences with Markham were all good. As many of you have said in your postings, Melissa is great!
Interestingly, Markham was not my first choice. I wanted an EZ Standard toothbar. The EZ Standard cannot be ordered direct from the manufacturer. To get their toothbar you must go through one of their many dealers. I called the dealers in my area, 25 to 60 miles distant and found a dealer who said they had one in stock. All the others would have to order what I wanted. This dealer was the one most distant, 60 miles, they said they had it in stock and they had the best price.
I wasn't able to make the drive right away so I called two or three more times to be certain that they had what I wanted and that they kept it for me. I was assured they did and would. When I drove the 60 miles what I was shown was a toothbar that looked very much like the Markham design. I asked them if it was a Markham but they didn't know. It was obvious that it wasn't the EZ Standard. These guys didn't know what they had. I told them that is not what I had been told they had on hand and returned home.
While driving home, I decided that I may as well but the Markham bar and have it delivered to my front gate for less than what these guys were wanting me to pay for one.
I called Melissa and my toothbar will be delivered today. Based upon the reviews from all who have one, I plan to be happy with my purcahse.
I did email EZ Standard and told them this story. I suggested that they may want to consider direct sales. They are losing sales by their dealers, at least this particular dealer cost them a sale.
