bx 23
Well, at one month old and 68 hours, My bx23 had it's first operational shut-down. Seems I had torn a hole in the fuel line between the pump and the filter. I was done for the day and had shut it down so I could sit and have a cold one with the wife and admire the work I have accomplished when I saw a puddle under the tractor. Took a quick look and saw what the problem was. Off to the auto parts store I went. The 18 inch peice of hose was under two bucks and it took only ten minutes to replace. I gotta admire the design of the machine. Quick squeeze clamps on both of the ends of the hose. There have been numerous posts about the clearance of the BX, but to be fair, I am clearing land and have been going over some bumpy terrain clearing out brush. All in all, it does much better than I thought the clearance would allow.
