That picture reminds me of all the old pictures of Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson demonstrating the new Ford tractor. They were always dressed in a business suit and most of the people watching the demonstrations were too. You might be a real standout in that tux today, Scotty, but in the past, you'd probably just fit in fine. I guess that makes the tux "period dress" for the time when that Farmall was brand new. ...and it certainly looks brand new. The log splitter is probably a little ahead of the times though.

Im going to convert the HD orange monster log splitter into a beautiful "Farmall Red " Super A accessory attachment !

Afternoon Ron,
Very nice thanks for that post ! Up in my little Vt house I have a Diecast model of a Farmall A on an oak shelf I made, it gets lots of looks from company and myself and of course I have to tell the whole story how the 1942 Farmall A was my first tractor..... on and on !
