We have been putting in literally thousands of feet of woven wire fencing on treated wood posts on my farm this year. That of course means drilling lots of holes in sometimes Rocky soil. My tractor supply post hole auger is not very heavy duty and it looks like the key on the main gear shaft has finally worn out. It is not a type of key I have ever seen before. Has anyone here ever replaced one? Do you know what it’s called? It is definitely not a woodruff key. I will try and post a picture tomorrow.
