Mahindra E-Max 25
I have a mahindra emax 25 and it wont start. I turned the key for warm up then when the glow plug indicator went out I turned the key the rest of the way for start. It went click and every thing went dead. I got out the test light and started checking. I have power to the starter, also to and from the ignition switch but nothing comes on not even the flashers. What could be my problem?

It could be a battery near the end of its useful life or just dirty or loose connections. Remove battery cables and clean connectors. Clean battery terminals. Reinstall cables and tighten securely. If you can move them they're not tight. Follow the ground lead to the frame. Clean and tighten. Measure the battery voltage - should be about 12.6. While monitoring the voltage have someone attempt to start the tractor. If it drops to ten volts it's probably marginal. Below ten it's time for a new one. If the battery voltage holds and the starter won't turn the engine over we'll go from there. Oh, and welcome to TBN.

I recently had the same issue with my Branson, found a connector that came unplugged under the dash coming off of the ignition switch. As mentioned earlier make sure the battery is fully charged.

Look around on ground beneath engine for the wiggle pin in case it fell out of wobble shaft.

Welcome to TBN. I would start with battery ground connection, then all battery connections.

I'm sure you have numerous safety switches . . . check them.

Welcome to TBN. You will find most here will do their best to offer useful information, reasonable discussion, or silly tired jokes.

Checking TractorData.com indicates your tractor is a minimum of 6 years old and may be as much as 8 or 9. If you haven't replaced the battery since the tractor was new, it may be at the end of its life. You didn't indicate a region you live which can be perinate information for those trying to help with a parts source or just to have an idea of weather conditions which may exacerbate starting problems and battery life. I don't know where you store it, but look for rodent nests and possible chewed wires plus all the other advise about tightening connections and testing,

Regarding your region, you don't need to be specific if you don't want to, but an area helps. For instance I could have put north central WA or Okanogan. or even just eastern WA and it would be enough.

Roadworthy posted a good place to start.
My contribution would be that an independent of the machine battery load test would be best, and could be the source of the no start condition. Of course, it could be plenty of other things.

Your failure was identical to two failures that I had a few years ago on my diesel zero turn mowers (same exact failure, 2 different machines). My failure was a catastrophic battery failure on 2 optima batteries that were 3 years old. The resting voltage was somehow normal, zero under load.

I had very similar problem with my 2 year old 5545 where I shut off the tractor and the next time had a click and then nothing. I checked all battery connections and they were all tight. I assumed battery was low and tried to jump it with but still had a click. Removed the battery and did a load test and battery was ok. I removed both cables and found the ground cable connection to the frame had the frame painted with about 1/4 inch of bare metal exposed. Cleaned the frame the full area of the cable connection to bright metal and reconnected the ground cable. Problem solved.
