trailer ball on a box blade?

I did this a long time ago; I use it frequently. One of the better "upgrades" I have done as far as tractoring goes.

I mounted a reinforced tab at about the 2/3-3/4 height point of the scraper. In my case, mounting the ball on the top lip of the scraper would have put it up too high

Use it frequently with 8' utility trailer around the property. It is handy for parking both of my trailers; my storage spot is kind of a pain to manuever in to with the truck.

I would just be cautious; Don't put a bazzilllion pound loaded trailer on and break your 3pt hitch or bend the arms. And remember, it's a lot more to stop once you get rolling.

My FIL has holes in the back frame of his BB for trailer balls. Works well for him since his MF165 seriously out weighs his trailers.
