Undecided..Is this a good deal, JD 5325

I mentioned on another thread I was looking for a Kubota M5040. IN my search, I found a JD 5325 that I like. I want to know if you guys (gals too) think this is a good deal or not.

I may have miscalled it something else. It's the EH Hitch, (I think).

No plans for FEL. Backhoe available for that.

First off that tractor doesn't look worse for wear. Very nice tractor with a new MX7 and box blade to boot. About the same hp and price as a new 4720 after discounts. The implements would not be included with a 4720, but that price is about right with full weights and other options.

Rereading my last post I thought I should clarify that the 5325 is a nice tractor. I would have been more interested in something similar if it were not for sharing equipment I already had, plus the fact if I do need to get something new for ranch work it would need to be a minimum of a 6000 series. Overall I would feel for most work that 65hp 5325 is an optimum sized tractor that can handle many tasks.:thumbsup:

Very good lookin' tractor! I see the light package, rear wiper, too. I believe that with the EH hitch you have an electric switch mounted on the rear fender that you can raise and lower the 3pt from the back of the tractor when attaching/unhooking implements.

Very handy!

Does it have the adjustable Power Modulator for the reverser? (Good thing to have if you ever get a loader for it.)

It appears to be a fair price both ways. My JD5325, sans cab, has been a real workhorse at clearing overgrown fields, turning forest into fields, and grooming roadways. When my pasture is turned to vineyard I'm seriously thinking of finding a narrow version. My only hesitation is I prefer less ground pressure through the rows.
