I am looking to get some better lighting for our barn with 16-foot ceilings. I want to move away from 4-foot lights and make everything simple. Seems to me that these "deformable" LED lights are going to fit the bill but I wanted to get everyone else advice before I pulled the trigger.

Looking at a bunch of #3 lights from this video.

From the results, shown better on the website, those seem to be the best color temperature and the best performing.

It seems like the best solution would depend on your goals. What do you dislike about your current lights? What is driving the thought of moving away from the 4' (fluorescent?) lights, and how does that make things simpler?

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I have a bunch of 8' fluorescent fixtures in my barn. My issue is that they frequently don't work in very high humidity, and I *think* cold weather also contributes to the issue.

I'm not sure what I'll do yet, but I'm leaning towards leaving the fixtures in place, removing the ballasts, and updating the ends to support 8' LEDs. I'm hoping that will fix the reliability issue with minimum expense. As an added bonus, I hope to get brighter lighting and a lower electric bill.

Not to take over your thread, but I would also appreciate feedback.

I would like more light output than what 4 or 8 foot LEDs offer. I would also like to be able to "change a bulb" and store extras easier. I don't see a need for long fixtures anymore. I think these deformable LED also give me the option to put the light where I need it (off to the side or straight down).

Same boat, and like the idea of the lights with the wings. That link shows a video on the Oneforu light... But it's currently unavailable. Makes me wonder if they had a run on them. Get this winter out of the way I'm buying something for sure

I put 4' LED fixtures in my barn -- they are the same form factor and mounting/wiring as fluorescents, but brighter and less energy use.

Our garage had two incandescent bulbs in ceramic bases, and it was always dark in there. I bought two of these 5000 lumen units that screw right into the sockets instead of a bulb:

Let me tell you, they are insanely bright and light up the two-bay garage (14' ceilings) like the sun (I probably could have got by with the lesser 3000 lumen units).

Had I known how easy it would have been to get bright LEDs, I would have just installed ceramic bases in my barn and used these types of units. It would have been much easier than mounting the 4' fixtures, and cheaper too.

I have posted before in other threads on shop lights so here goes again.
I have a 40' X 60' X 14' Red Iron building and have 6 4' LED's from Rural King that are 4500 lumen and were $24.95 go on sale for $19.95. They now sell these in 5500 lumen, same price.
6 lights use 240 Watts, less than 3- 100 Watt bulbs!
