Purchased a used L3200 in July which was equipped with R1 ag tires. Most of my land is hills and it feels for lack of a better term Tippy to me. Called dealer and set of R4 tires and wheels are no cost prudent. Read some post about wheel spacers. Seems like a possibility but worried about bearing and axle stress. Has anyone used on a L3200? I was thinking 2", preferably 3". Also any recommendations where to purchase them?

Are your wheels set as wide as they'll go? I have a L4400 and have the wheels set next to the widest arrangement and it is very stable.

Do you have wheels set out as far as possible

Are the tires loaded? Adding weight to the rear wheels is what takes away the tippy feeling. Wheel weights are good, but to lower the center of gravity the most, fill the tires. CalChl (salt water) is the heaviest, but will rust the rims unless you have tubed tires. Rim Guard (beet juice) is next heaviest but more expensive. Even water will help. If you ever freeze, you might want some washer fluid or RV anti-freeze. The spacers will enhance any effect the added weight gives.

Yes, tires are filled and have the wheels set at widest point.

Yep. AGs set all the way out, filled and 3" Motorsport-Tech spacers here.

Good reading....

Thanks number9L. I had read the thread before. Your land and hills are similar to mine. I might have one area that is slightly steeper. I mowed it with no issues for 12 years with a Yanmar 220D but it's about 4 inches shorter in height and had turf tires so it's about same width as the L3200 with R1's at widest placement. I gather you've had no issues going to the 3" spacers. I think I'm going to give them a try.

No issues at all with them. Got about 300hr on tractor. My 5" spacers will be here Thur. Little concerned about the 5" spacers, but they openly sell 4" on the website and I know they've made 5" for the L series for others. The 5" will probably be fine as I don't put a lot of heavy load on the rear of my tractor. At most a 700# box blade or grader blade.

I got spacers for the L3800 (same tractor as yours except HP) through my dealer for use with chains. No problems. The spacers were optional through Kubota in 2011.

Very stable with loaded tires and spacers.

Another thing that works wonders are cast iron wheel weights. I mounted some on my Ford 1710 which is close to a L3200, and I could not believe the difference.
